Kalbi Taco Shack was born from Sue Wong-Shackelford's love for culinary fusion. Raised in a family of chefs, Sue grew up blending diverse Asian flavors. Inspired to create something unique, she opened Kalbi Taco Shack in South St. Louis, which has now expanded to City Foundry Food Hall in Midtown.
She specializes in Asian-Mexican fusion cuisine, featuring house-made marinades and freshly prepared sides. Our menu includes premium meats like Certified Angus Boneless Beef Short Rib, Sweet & Spicy Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Hot Buffalo Zing Chicken, Sweet & Spicy Pork and Tempura Shrimp. We also offer vegetarian and vegan options such as Sautéed Tofu, Sweet & Spicy Jackfruit and Roasted Sweet Potatoes. Choose from Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, Protein Box and Rice Bowls. Additionally, we’re known for our Vietnamese coffees, Fresh Lemonades and Bubble Teas. (All our marinades are Gluten-Free and Nut-Free as well). We look forward to serving you soon!
